Psalms 37:4

It's definitely the moment you've all been waiting for!!!
Okay, mostly just I'VE been waiting for...
but I'm dying to show you!!!!!!!
It's house pictures time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :)

October 28::
We're finishing up!!
All that's left to do on the outside is the shutters!!

Our fireplace!!!!!!!!!!
We will be mounting a flat screen above the fireplace and
framing the tv with crown molding!
{Thanks to Little Cakes in Alexandria & Pinterest for the idea!
The end result is stunning!!}

Vannie's ready for a bath in her new home!!

October 30, 2011::
OUR KITCHEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See the cream cabinets??  The dark island??  The cream AND dark countertops??
The stainless steel appliances?? And can we just talk about the floors??
 Ahhhhhh, do you LOVE it?!?!??!?
I'm TOTALLY freaking out!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm CRAZYYYYYYYY IN LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's definitely my most favorite room in the house!!!!!!!!!!!  :)

The big empty space is where the refrigerator will go...
and there is an overhang on the island
where I'll need to get 4 bar stools...
And we still have to put up the back splash..
But don't you just LOVE the color combinations??
Doesn't it feel cozy???

Loooooove these countertops SO much!!
It just brings in all the different colors of our kitchen and meshes them together so well!!

Our undermount sink!!!!!!!! The faucet and sprayer weren't in yet,
but they look SO pretty sitting out on the counter while the sink sits UNDER the counter.
I've never used one like this before, but I think I am going to LOVE it!!!

Our new appliances!!!!
Is it bad that I don't want to use them so they can stay fresh and new forever???  Haha!!!

Tah Dah!!!!  Almost done!!!

The pantry!!  {I'm determined to eventually have a walk-in pantry,
but I could not have picked anything better for this house!  There are SO many shelves
and don't you think the doors are charming???  LOVE!!}

Ha!!  I'm thinking I'll probably be seeing this a few more times...

Savannah's PINK room!!!
I'm dying to get her furniture in there to see what it will all look like together!!
I was nervous about the floors clashing with the pink walls, but they actually are okay together.
I'm still planning to get a big rug for the middle of her floor, though,
just to eat up some of that red/brown floor!  Add that cream furniture with the pops of hot pink...
ahhhhh, can we PLEASE start decorating NOW?!?!?!  :)

Andrew's room!!!
I'm also DYING to get his furniture in to see how it meshes!!  A sweet friend of mine is sending me some  blue Pottery Barn curtains, so I'm anxious to hang them and start adding some color into his room.
I soooo love his view of the backyard, too!

Another sight I had better get used to...  HA!!
Cabinets made the BEST hiding spots!!

August..

September...

October...

November.  :)

So you know how Wade and I have driven out to the house
basically EVERY day because we are SO excited and want to see every update,
big and small???  #veryexciteddorks  HA!
One night we drive up and see this::

OUR SHUTTERS ARE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since we couldn't hardly even see them,
we woke up basically at DAWN the next morning to drive back out.

And we were speechless.

I'm seriously tearing up just seeing these.
Is this really ours??  Can it really be true??
We aren't just pretending and dreaming and getting excited about someone else's house??

Can't you just hear the Lord laughing???
Matthew 7:7, 8 & 11 - "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.... If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!!"

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU, LORD!!!!!!
We are so humbled.  Truly, what an awesome God we serve.

The guest bathroom... complete!!!
{Minus the cleaning up part!
But seriously, how cute is that toilet????
Hahaa, I even love the potty!!!!!!!!}

Our master bedroom fan! Seriouslyyyyy???
Something I would have never picked for our bedroom...
and now something I realize is so incredibly perfect
and that the Lord directed even this.

The master bath!!!!!!!!

Checking out MOMMY'S new tub.  :)

I am soooo excited about a separate tub and shower!
We've never had that and it's one thing I will NEVER take for granted!!  :)
Bubble baths, here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leading into our walk-in closet!
And it's big enough to hold BOTH of our clothes...
another thing we've never had before and gosh, y'all, we are SO grateful for a BIGGG closet!

See the faucet and sprayer for the sink?? Yaayyy!
And the refrigerator was delivered and now just needs to be installed!
P.S...  I'm going to need something good to decorate with
for over the kitchen window... Any ideas??
Pinterest time!!!  Haha!!

LOVE that high mantel!!
Can't wait to hang our stockings for years to come
 on this very fireplace!!!!!!!  :)

Oh, Lord, we are so overwhelmed.  You are so good.
May this be YOUR house,
where everyone who enters hears and sees You.
May You be glorified in all that we do,
using this home for YOUR glory.

One word:: HOME.

 "Delight yourself in the Lord,
and He shall give you the desires of your heart." - Psalms 37:4

Love to you all!!

Tricks and Treats!

I know it's time to see the HOUSE!  And I promise that's next!
But I wanted you all to see how we just ended our October!

I made these bite-sized Pecan Pies for Wade's co-workers!
They were darling!  But I think I would rather a whole big pie...
these just seem like a tease and then you feel bad when you've eaten 12.
I mean 2.  :)

But aren't they pretty??

Since we are a week away from closing {EEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!},
I decided to start packing up Andrew's clothes
that are too big for him.
However, since I had two monkeys UNPACK them for me
and I had to REPACK each box for what felt like 20 times,
I'm waiting until Dad is home to pack from now on. #legitexcuse  :)
My little 'helper.'

On October 30,
ANDREW PAUL POOLE TOOK HIS FIRST STEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It was so so wonderful!!
We were all together in Savannah's room!  Wade was reading Savannah a story while I was playing with Andrew.  He crawled out of my lap, stood up, looked at Wade and Van....
AND TOOK HIS FIRST STEP RIGHT TOWARDS THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!  I immediately jumped up and started screaming...
which made him fall down and start crying.  Hahaha!!!
I was sooooooooooo PROUD!!!

One of the greatest rewards of being a stay-at-home mom is being the one that gets to see all the "FIRSTS"...  first smile, first word, first foods, first step.  Mothers are CREATED to be see each of these moments!  Those precious "firsts" make all the dirty diapers, spit-up episodes, and dinner time disasters WORTH.EVERY.MINUTE. The hardworking daddies sometimes have to sacrifice watching these things, which can be sad... but it helps to know that their babies are safe and sound  at home with Mommy, knowing that the one other person in the world who loves them just was much as he does is teaching, protecting, caring, nurturing, and completely engaged and focused on THEIR babies.

And when they know all of that...
and STILL get to watch those "firsts"...  now, THAT is truly perfect!!!

Seriously, how sweet is our God that He would let us BOTH experience
watching our babies take their first step!!!!  Ahhhh!
Lord, we are SO thankful!!!!!

I simply can't describe how it feels when this tiny person,
that we have taken care of from his very first breath of life,
has developed into a tiny person that can walk.
It's just incredible.

Here is our little warrior, "taking his first step with Jesus!!" - Grammie  :)

On October 31,
we realized it was Halloween.
That's right. October 31.
Whoops!!
Thankfully, we were able to scrounge around and find something the kids could wear to dress up in!  We went to Kees Park, where the community puts together a trail of stations that the kids stop at and get their little buckets filled up with candy!!  TOTALLY ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, ALL OF YOU have to come next year!!!!!!!!  But we have to get there an hour early because the line gets out of control.  And we want the best candy.  :)

Here's is our mini-MINNIE MOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh, babies make the holidays SOOOO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!!!
#can'twaitforemorytogethere.....  ;)

Brother did not have a costume yet...  we were still scrounging.

Ahhhhhhhhdorable!!!!!

Mommy's little boy!!!
{With a mouthful of Outlaw's.  YUM!!}

Daddy's little girl!!

Look what we found!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, heyyyyy, Nurse Poole!!!!!!!!!!  :)

Happy Halloween!!!!!!

I tried to get creative with our Halloween pictures.  #fail

Trick-or-Treat! Smell my feet!! Give us something good to eat!!

Halloween.... at our new house!!!!!!!!

Cuties!!!!!!  And do you like the sneak peek of the granite??? Yayyyy!!!

Here are a few of our pictures from last night's
 Trick-or-Treating extravaganza in Kees Park!!

Alvin and the Chipmunks were there!!!
{Of course, our girls were scared to death and wouldn't go near them!  HA!}

But they did love Princess Jasmine!!!!

On the route to a trick-or-treating station!!!!

Savannah learned quickly how to put
her bucket up to get some candy.
 Ahhhh, TOOTSIE ROLLS!!!!!!!

Each tootsie roll needed to be eaten IMMEDIATELY
 upon entrance into the bucket.
{And see all the boxes of candy in the back??
Seriously, the amount of candy was insane!!}

The kids had candy for dinner.  #notkidding

Hey!!  Where's the MILK stations???

Ahahahaha!!!!!!  This makes me DIE laughing!!!  Nathan was holding Callie...and obviously had to hold her bucket as well.  He kept saying how awkward he felt, holding out his bucket for more candy...
"Ummm...  Callie's favorite is Kit-Kat's.  I promise!!!!!!!!"

Yaaayyyy!!!  The little girls FINALLY got a picture with the princesses!!!

Yaaayyyyyy!!!!!  The big girls FINALLY got a picture with the princesses!!!
Hahaha!!

Dorothy from Wizard of Oz!

Savannah... checking out the Tin Man!  Ha!

The Walmart station was taking pictures of each family and is giving them FREE copies... we go pick them up Wednesday!!  How great is that???  I know Nathan will be so pleased!!!!!  :)

Love each of their faces!!  I really can't wait to go get my copy!!!

Sonic station!!  The girls were petrified of the hot dog...
so Nathan went with them!  What a good sport!  :)

After this, we went to DeDe's house.... aka: the rich people's neighborhood.  HA!!  We did real-life trick or treating on a few houses and then gathered up all our candy and came home.  The kids absolutely COLLAPSED into bed after their baths... can we say a SUGAR CRASH???  Ha!

What a boooootiful Halloween!!!
We can't wait to do it again next year!!!

Love to you all!
