As with every year, spring signals a change. A change in weather, cleaning up and out, making new friends and settling in for another year of memories with the old... and this year is no exception.
This spring, our baby sister is planning her move from Texas back to Louisiana!! She will be about an hour away, which makes for lots of day trips to Anacoco, sleepovers, and meet-ups in Alexandria! They should be moving back at the end of May and we absolutely cannot wait!
They are moving to Jason's hometown... and Heather will be living in a home with this view:
She and Jason will have three horses to watch and play with... and that makes for some super excited nieces and nephews!
This white pony was so friendly!
Baby Grant's first horseback ride! :)) We can't wait for many, many more!
We also celebrated a miracle this March! After several years of waiting, the Lord has sent baby Tucker to our sweet friends, Lauren and Eric! Our church threw a shower for this long-awaited, abundantly-prayed for baby and it was a precious day! Jen did a wonderful job planning and preparing, organizing everything to give Lauren the perfect party! Here a few pictures from the shower... the theme was camping and these are my acorn cookies!
Another friend from church made these adorable cake pops.. seriously! Aren't they the cutest!?
The hostess with the mostest!
Of course, we had to play the bubble gum game where Lauren had to answer all the questions in the same way that Eric did or she has to chew gum... This was a funny shot that I loved! :))
We love our Johnsons!
Such a sweet friend and such a precious baby...
we are looking so forward to loving on Baby Tucker! Due April 16!
Spring is so fun.. so many changes, so many things to look forward to!
I am reminded of Lamentations 3:22-23 consistently throughout these refreshing spring days... "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness."
