Last Day of Kindergarten

Remember this post?? The one where Sadie and Rylie began their very first day of kindergarten?? It seems incredibly strange to be sitting here writing about their LAST day of kindergarten, but here we are.. A whole year of reading books, practicing handwriting, learning math facts, and making crafts! On May 20, the girls had their Kindergarten Awards Day to end their school year. And, of course, Aunt Lissie was there with camera in hand!

Beautiful Sadie, all lined up and ready to go!

Mrs. Milliner's class!!

Here is Rylie, waiting for her award!!

Rylie won the Super Hero Award... for always being so super in class!
I had to snap a quick picture of this!! Here are Savannah, Callie, and Andrew at the beginning of the Awards Show....

And here they are an hour later, ha!!! We didn't let them stay laying on the floor... but it WAS funny!!

Sadie's turn!!!

Sadie won the Best Foot Forward Award... for coming to school everyday with a positive, hardworking attitude, ready to put her best foot forward!!

After all the awards were given to each of the kindergarten classes, the P.E. teacher announced that there was one boy and one girl who had outrun all of the other boys and girls in track! She had kept a tally of how many laps each student ran.. and having run over 10 miles in the course of the school year, SADIE SHARBONO won the girl's Kindergarten Top Runner Award!!

The Awards Show ended with the principal announcing the new 2014 class of Buckeye FIRST GRADERS!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!

Here are the sweet twins with their Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Milliner!

One proud Momma with her three girls!

School friend, Reece!!!!

The girls with Abby and Mallorie!

What little women.

The last few pictures of the girls in their first school classroom!

The girls stayed for the rest of the day to enjoy their last school party... and then came home, looking forward to a long, sweet summer of sleepovers, lazy days with Callie and Jude, and visiting with Grammie and Pops (who are currently building right next door!!) and with Hezzy and Jase (who now live only an hour away!!)

Praise Jesus for Junes and Julys. :))

Hola, Senoritas!

The last weekend in May, we celebrated our sweet friend, Allyson's, upcoming nuptials!!  She and Heath are so precious to our family and we had such a wonderful time talking, planning, and preparing for her incredible wedding day!

The theme for Al's lingerie shower was Mexican... and it was absolutely fantastico!!!  :)))

One of the cutest and most delicious treats there!

The new sisters-in-law!

I couldn't get over how bright and colorful and beautiful everything was!

Mr. Cuties!!!!

Al was just glowing!!  What a beautiful bride-to-be!!

This was Al's face for most of the night... she absolutely could NOT wait to be a married woman!!!  It was so fun to see her so happy, so giddy, and so excited!

I love my precious Al woman!!  She is the essence of beauty and life and everything good... because she is absolutely consumed with Jesus and it shows in everything she does!

Such a sweet and wonderful night with these lovely ladies!

We had lots of fun celebrations for Al as we counted down the days until she became Mrs. Hensgens!!!  Those pictures are coming soon!!!  This is such a fun stage of life and we are enjoying it to the fullest! :))

May's Memories

On Mother's Day, Baby Grant was dedicated at our sweet church, The Gathering Place!  He was one of 7 other babies that were brought before the church and were prayed over and dedicated to the Lord.  Everyone committed to praying for our children, that they would come to know Christ as their Savior, and living lives that would consistently point and direct our children to Jesus!  What a blessing it is to have a precious church that desires to invest in our children! I am so thankful!
I am also so appreciative of my amazing Wadie who daily leads our family closer to Jesus!
After church, we headed to Nana and Paw's hotel where we could continue celebrating Grant's big day, as well as the remainder of Savannah's birthday weekend!  We ordered pizza and swam all afternoon... what a sweet Sunday!
On Tuesday night, we had one of our very last t-ball games!  While the season was a struggle in the beginning, I am SO glad we stuck it out!  Savannah ended up having a great time, we met lots of sweet girls, and it gave me time to hang out with Jenny, Hezzy - who now lives close enough to get to make little events like t-ball games, ahhhh!!, and our precious Amber, who made it to every game she could!  I told you our church loves to invest in our kids...I think there was someone from our church at every single one of the girls' games! Amazing!

A week or so before Heather and Jason moved to Anacoco, she came to spend the week with us while Jason was in the Bahamas on a mission trip.  Nice. ;)
It was SUCH a fun week... I could do it EVERY week!!  One night, Heather kept the kids so that Wade and I could go on our very first date night without a single baby since Grant was born! Ahhhh!!  What a treat!!  Here are a few pictures she took during bath time!! :))

Kate's curl cracks me up every time!!

Another night, Heather treated us by cooking a Cinco de Mayo meal!  She uses America's Test Kitchen recipes... which you know are the most detailed, time-consuming recipes!  We thoroughly enjoyed her major efforts, though!!!  :))  Everything was just heavenly!

Homemade salsa... beautiful!

We took our plates outside and had a family picnic!!!  :))

" Aunt Lissie. Put the camera down and bring me my plate!!"

We may need to invest in a bigger picnic table..

THANK YOU, Hezzy, for a most wonderful week!!!  You are incredible and we want you to come back and live with us anytime!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :))))
We know that April showers bring May flowers, but what do May flowers bring??
Haaaa!!  Hezzy, that's for you! :))  This year, May ALSO bought lots of good memories..  Savannah turned 5, Grant turned 1, Heather and Jason moved back to Louisiana, and on May 25th, our worlds were changed forever!  We found out that Poole Baby #4 was on the way!!!!!!!!! Our first three babies were surprises, so I guess the trend just had to continue!!  We immediately felt blessed, overwhelmed, excited, and crazy all at the same time!  Haa!!  If there is ANYTHING Wade and I have learned, however, over the past 5 years, it's that God's timing is always impeccably perfect!  There is no greater plan than His... so we will continue to trust Him as we learn how to become a Poole Party of 6!!  And of course, we covet your prayers, your help, and any extra cash you may have coming in . :))  We are so excited about this new chapter coming... and the new baby that has already captured our hearts.

Savannah turns FIVE - Part 2

To continue Savannah's birthday weekend, we woke up Friday morning, had breakfast, and broke out a "crafting" book to see what we could make!  We found a recipe for play dough that you can bake!  The kids dumped, poured, mixed, and stirred to create this ooey-gooey play dough!  Here they are, hard at work!

Hey!  I need some attention over here, guys!

Can anybody guess what Mommy made??  Here is Olaf.. in summmmmmer!!  :))

Grammie and Pops made it into town and took everyone for a ride on the swing!

Saturday morning, Savannah's actual birthday, I decorated the house while Wade picked up this bouquet for his best girl!!  Isn't it stunning?!

My big helper, helping to set up Sister's party!

Sweet Vannie, ready to open her presents!

Of course, Brother needed to help with this very difficult task! ;)

Our neighbor was celebrating her second birthday, so we headed over to her house to jump and swim for a little while!  And Van wondered why they sang Happy Birthday to someone else...??

Afterwards, we headed to Indian Creek to meet up with our friends and family to swim, grill out, and play!

Sweet friends, Rylie and Daizy!

One of my favorite shots of the day!

Dance party to the Frozen soundtrack!!

This is how we eat out in the wilderness, ha!!  Everyone was SO amazing and brought incredible foods to eat!  What a beautiful plate!!

The gorgeous cake from Nana and Paw!!

Love these pictures of our sweet friends who celebrated with us::

What an amazing weekend celebrating our sweet Savannah girl!  Of course, we missed many of our precious friends who weren't able to make it, but we were so appreciative of everyone who made the drive to come!!  I have to tell you... big, blow out parties are fun, but simple, natural camp-out ones can be just as grand. ;))
Love my girl, love this life.
