N is for Nest

After spending a week of talking about how God cares for us, how God fed Elijah by sending a raven with food, George Muller and his orphanage and their total dependence on God to provide, how our Father feeds and cares even for the birds of the air, AND even taking a field trip to Kincaid Lake to go hiking through the woods to spot an EAGLE'S NEST!, we finished our week by creating an edible nest!  Here is Savannah with our supplies!

Little chef in training!

Speaking of birds, look at this little rooster!! :))

Such a big girl!

Grass - mini wheats
Twigs - chow mein noodles
Mud - chocolate chips and peanut butter
Mother Bird - Savannah

Tah-dahhhh!!  A bird's nest!

Such a lovely little lady!

And because we couldn't let Savannah have all the cooking fun, Wade and I made Chef John Folse's Pralines... ohhh mannn.  So bad and yet sooo goooood!!

The following week, we began our Turtle study!  Aunt Heather came into town and became Savannah's substitute teacher!!  :))

Aunt Hezzy (and her RED hair!!) reading The Tortoise and The Hare in our grandmother's book of Aesop's Fables.. while Savannah read the same story on the Ipad!  Oh, how times have changed!

Hahaa, sweet boy!

Here is little Savannah READING to everyone!

Last, but not least, here is Savannah doing her math work... with mini vanilla Oreos.
Hey...  when you're good, you're good. #momwin

Beautiful baby!
More from our turtle week, coming up next!
