Our neighborhood decided to host its very own Trick or Treat on Halloween night!! Usually, everyone goes somewhere else, but we thought we would have enough houses (we've had SO MUCH CONSTRUCTION all year long!!). So we set a time and planned to trick or treat with our very own neighbors this year!!
This is how my house looked for the week of Halloween and I loved it!! :))
Vannie hated that one bottom tooth, hahaa!!
On Halloween night, about 30 minutes before go-time, I looked through the kids' closets to see what I could put together as a costume. Clearly, Halloween is super important to me... ;)) The boys had matching jerseys, so they went as Saints players!! Again.
Remember Andrew in his 4 years ago..??
And then Grant in his 2 years ago..??
With a few black stripes, the boys were ready!! My precious Vannie quickly came up with a costume idea.. we recently read Charlotte's Web together and she decided to be Fern Arable!! Quick, easy, and so cute!!
And since I had a matching outfit, we got to be Fern together!!
We set out our bowl of candy, hung up my fireplace banner outside, and left to trick or treat down the street!!
First, we met up with our favorite boy next door!! LumberJACK!
Hahaa, he wouldn't wear his beard, but look how cute!!
Love our sweet neighbors!!
Our street turned out to be such a success!! Almost every single house participated and gave out the GOOD candy!!
We all had such a fun time!!!
After about an hour of kid-friendly, non-scary Halloween fun (the best kind!!!), and all of our neighbors had gone inside for the night, we sat out on the front porch and went through all of our candy!!
And Grant danced his sugar-high dance, hahaa!!
We called Nan and Paw to wish them a Happy Halloween and to show them all our goodies!!
Happy Halloween 2016 from the sweetest little street in Cenla!!
