Our Last T-Ball Practice!!

Andrew has enjoyed playing ball so much and we have had the best time watching him!!  Even when it feels like 100 degrees and I'm chasing 3 other kids with a big, ol' pregnant belly, ha!!  You know we truly enjoy it if I'm willing to do that every week..  But just look at that big man!!

We had to play on a backstop area once when all the fields were taken and I just loved the big, open spaces..  This is how little boys should be spending their summers!!

These two enjoyed throwing dirt down the sewer the whole time.. sorrrrryyyyy, ball park people. :/

This was so neat to me, because both of those little boys have dads that went to LC with us!!  It is really precious to watch as we raise the next generation up together.

And also, we have the cutest assistant coach ever. :))
Andrew's first game was just a few days away and I was as nervous and excited as I could be!!  He was the most adorable little thing in his uniform and I couldn't wait to see how he would feel out on the field with an audience watching for the first time..  That post is coming soon!!

#YouHadMeAtYantis

On March 17th, we drove down to Thibodaux because our sweet friend, Mollie, was getting married close to Baton Rouge the next day!!  And when it's crawfish season, you don't need any more of an excuse to eat some than that, hahaa!!

Beautiful husband with a beautiful plate!!

We left the older three kiddos with Nan and Paw and drove to Clinton, LA!! And y'all.  We were stuck in BR traffic for an hour and a half with a 2 year old ring bearer!!! Ahhhh, I was stressing!!  We got to the wedding less than 30 minutes before it started!!  So here we are, putting on the last of Samuel's accessories out in the parking lot..

Sweet baby is forever scratched up.  (This is the mark from running into an open cabinet door.   I mean, how do these things happen?!)  But goodness, isn't he precious?!

The photographer got this shot of the ring bearers coming down the aisle:  Emmitt came bounding down, all smiles and happiness.  Samuel came trudging along, arm over his face, looking as gloomy and miserable as he could be..  Ahhhhh!! Hahaa, in the moment, I was dying!!  But looking at it now makes me laugh.  Hey, at least we got there in time for this pitiful performance, ha!!

Afterwards, Samuel went racing outside to play with... what else??  STICKS!!

Hahaa, I love you, my little man!!

Somehow, Samuel missed having a haircut before the big day.. whoops. So he had to work the shaggy look.

He had such a cute sign..

..that he preferred to use as a kite.

The church steps were just too much of a temptation, so he did this while waiting on group pictures..

Oh, yeah.  This is how those scratches and marks on the face happen, ha!!

And miracle of miracles, he stayed dressed long enough to take a formal group picture. ;))

I love that the groomsman in the back is holding a paci, hahaha!!

I love going to weddings with Wadie!!  There's something so sweet and nostalgic about them that always leaves me thinking about our wedding day and how sweet life is with my precious honey bunches of oats.

These sure were some cute little wedding boys!!

They played "drums" on the tree before we got Samuel loaded up and headed back for home.

26 weeks pregnant with a 27 month old toddler.. They keep me so tired, but oh, so happy.
Happy Wedding Day to Mollie and Levi!! It was a gorgeous location, beautiful ceremony, and watching the union of two godly, wonderful people is such a joy!!  We had a wonderful time, even Samuel.. despite what his walk down the aisle might suggest. ;))  Love you, Yantis's!!!!!!!!!  Congratulations!!!!!!!!

St. Patrick's Day Weeklong Celebration!!

What should someone do the week of St. Patrick's Day??  Make rainbow cookies and lucky leprechaun pudding, of course!!

Forget the pudding, these kids were crazy about the cookies!!

That week, Andrew also lost his first front tooth!!!!  When we went to my mom's, he went running to show Callie.. only to find out that Callie had lost HER front tooth that day, TOO!!! They couldn't stop looking and grinning at each other!!!

3 days later, Brother had lost both front teeth.  He FaceTimed Callie to show her (this is really big stuff to 6 year olds, y'all), and she was at Grammie's where she had just lost HER second front tooth!!!!  How crazy and precious is that?!  They are tooth twins!!

Also this week, I made 'Leprechaun Bait' for Lifegroup. It was so fun and colorful!!

Grant loved it, too!!

Aaaaand this is what happens when you lose teeth too quickly at the Poole house and Mommy and Daddy are not prepared. Tooth Fairy moneyyyy!! Redeemable wherever your parents can use a card, ha!!
We wrapped up our celebration early on in the week because we were headed to Clinton, LA, where Samuel was to be the ring bearer in our sweet friend's wedding!!  Those pictures are next!!

Briley Turns 2!!

On March 11, we celebrated Briley's second birthday party at the Tree House Children's Museum!!  The kids were so excited to get to go and play!!

The theme was The Cat in the Hat and everyone looked so festive in their red and blue!!

Grammie and Vannie, saying hello from Illinois!!

Even Baby Adam made it to the party!!

I've never seen a king cake/birthday cake before, but look how adorable!!

Cutest momma with the cutest cookies!!

Adorable birthday spread!!

Everyone came inside and got ready to sing 'Happy Birthday' and eat!!

Happy Birthday, precious Briley!!!

Somehow Samuel snuck his way into the family picture, hahaa!!

One of my favorites!!  So, so sweet!!

Grant and Kate loved hitting each other with these party blowers, ha!!

Time for cookies and cake!!

So many sweet friends came to celebrate Briley!!

These two laughed and laughed together, it was the cutest thing!!

And after cake, Daddy had a check-up in the dentist office..

..which quickly turned into the doctor's office, where he required head surgery, hahaa!!

Shortly afterwards, there was a new doctor/patient team in town!!

They were so cute playing together!!

Before it was over, Briley opened her gifts..

...and this toy gave her BIG smiles!!

Happy birthday, beautiful girl!!!
I still remember finding out that Briley was coming.. I was at the beach when Casey called to say she was pregnant with baby #2!! ((Seeeee!!  I do answer my phone sometimes!!!! Hahaa!!)  It's been such a treat to watch Briley grow and be a part of her life. Thank You, Lord, for the sweet babies that change us and remind us of how great You are.  You are the miracle worker, the Author of life, and we praise You for holding us all in Your hand!!  Allow us to continually guide Briley to You and teach her to walk in your ways, delighting herself in You all of her life.  We love You, Father, and we love you, Briley!!  Happy Birthday!!
